Autonomous vehicle tech developer Roadlink International Trading Limited secures $24 million in additional funding

 Shenzhen, China /  22nd January, 2022 / - China-based technology startup Roadlink International Trading Limited, which is developing artificial intelligence (AI) powered autonomous driving technology, has secured $24 million in additional funding from existing strategic investors and venture capital firms.  


The extra funds will fuel Roadlink International Trading Limited’s growth and support the advancement of its core product, including an extensive pilot testing program with selected partners. 


“We are thankful for the additional funding we have raised and must express our gratitude to our existing partners who have further committed to the growth and future of my team,” said Lei Peng, CEO and Founder of Roadlink International Trading Limited. “The extra financial support will help us overcome operational costs, staffing challenges we are facing, advancements in our core engineering and also assist us in completing our stringent pilot testing in the months ahead.”


Roadlink International Trading Limited was founded in 2016 with the primary mission to develop AI-powered autonomous driving technology that combines with self-driving vehicle systems to make autonomous driving a reality. The sophisticated technology is assisted by deep learning software – a form of artificial intelligence – which is applied to everything the self-driving car performs, from recognizing obstacles around the vehicle to making intelligible decisions. 


"At a time when traffic fatalities are climbing and distracted driving causes more than half of all crashes, we want to tackle that problem by installing our technology into autonomous vehicles on a global scale," concluded Lei Peng, CEO of Roadlink International Trading Limited. "And, through our pilot testing program, we will rapidly be able to gather more miles of driving experience and data required to get a precise understanding of how an autonomous vehicle should behave in real-time situations.”


Roadlink International Trading Limited plans to package its autonomous driving technology into a full end-to-end system, which it anticipates to launch in early 2023.

China’s Roadlink International Trading Limited receives strategic investment for autonomous driving technology
